For years, I’ve straddled two worlds.
On one side, the structured, evidence-based world of psychology—a realm deeply rooted in top-down approaches to healing. Here, the mind is seen as the master, and the solution to suffering is often framed as changing thoughts, reframing narratives, and restructuring cognition.
On the other, the body’s deep intelligence, the intuitive knowing, the whispers of the nervous system—the parts of healing that exist beyond clinical models. These are bottom-up approaches, where the body leads, and healing emerges through somatic integration, nervous system regulation, and emotional embodiment.
For too long, I’ve compartmentalized my truth, playing by the rules of a system that fails to integrate both approaches. But I can’t do that anymore.
Healing is not just about the mind. It is about the body. And beyond both, it is about the soul.
And it’s time for me to fully own that.
Modern Psychotherapy: What’s Working & What’s Still Missing
In recent years, the field of psychotherapy has made significant strides in recognizing trauma-informed approaches and somatic healing. The outdated “just talk about it” model is evolving, incorporating both top-down and bottom-up techniques:
Top-Down Approaches (Mind-Led)
These work by changing thought patterns to influence emotions and behavior. Examples include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps people reframe negative thoughts.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Teaches emotional regulation skills.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy – Uses meditation and awareness to shift perception.
✅ What’s working: These methods help people make sense of their experiences, regulate their emotions, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
❌ What’s missing: Healing doesn’t just happen in the mind—it happens in the body and soul. Many clients still feel stuck because cognitive understanding alone doesn’t clear stored trauma or help them reconnect with their deeper self.
Bottom-Up Approaches (Body-Led)
These approaches recognize that trauma is stored in the body and healing must include nervous system regulation and somatic awareness.Examples include:
Somatic Experiencing (SE) – Works with the body’s natural ability to release trauma.
Polyvagal Theory-Based Therapy – Focuses on calming the nervous system.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Uses eye movements to reprocess trauma.
✅ What’s working: These approaches have transformed the way we understand trauma, helping people process their experiences on a deeper, physiological level.
❌ What’s missing: While these methods integrate the body, they still often ignore the deeper spiritual and existential wounds that drive repeating patterns, generational trauma, and soul disconnection.
The Missing Piece: The Soul in Healing
Modern therapy does a better job today of addressing trauma in the mind and body, but it still under acknowledge the soul.

🔥 Where is the space to honour intuition, energetic imprints, and the unseen forces that shape our lives?
Many people don’t just feel anxious or traumatized—they feel disconnected.
Disconnected from their inner knowing.
Disconnected from their higher self.
Disconnected from their purpose, joy, and life force.
Without the soul in therapy, healing remains incomplete.
I Am an Intuitive & I Will No Longer Hide It
For as long as I can remember, I’ve sensed things beyond logic. I’ve felt the presence of energies, received downloads of insight that weren’t taught to me, and known things without knowing how I knew them.
But intuition has been dismissed in psychology for too long.Women have been conditioned to distrust their gut feelings, even though research shows that the body knows before the mind does.
💡 The subconscious mind and body intelligence process reality faster than conscious thought.💡 Trauma, wisdom, and intuition live in the body—not just in the brain.
So, let me be clear:
✅ I integrate my intuition into my work, unapologetically.
✅ I trust what my body knows before my mind rationalizes it.
✅ I help others access their own deep, untamed wisdom.
I am a Critical Feminist & My Work is Rooted in Liberation
Healing isn’t just personal—it’s political.
Women have been gaslit by medical systems, mental health industries, and patriarchal structures that tell them:
❌ "You're too emotional."
❌ "Just work on your self-worth."
❌ "Maybe if you changed your mindset, things would be better."
But healing isn’t about “fixing” women—it’s about dismantling the systems that have kept them disconnected from their power.
✨ The soul has been erased from therapy.
✨ The feminine has been devalued in healing.
✨ The soul has been ignored in psychology, even as the body’s intelligence is now more widely recognized.
I refuse to perpetuate that.
